Be Mindful of Your Actions…

“The law of harvest is to reap more than you sow. Sow an act, and you reap a habit. Sow a habit and you reap a character. Sow a character and you reap a destiny.”

James Allen (28 November 1864-24 January 1912), British author, influenced by Buddha and Leo Tolstoy, believed in the power of thoughts to create one’s own destiny. He wrote 19 books during his short literary career of about 12 years. His first book, ‘From Poverty to Power’, was published in 1901. ‘As a Man Thinketh’ from which this quote has been cited, was his second book published in 1902. Incidentally, he was dissatisfied with it and had to be persuaded by his wife to publish it. Practical and proven by practice, his inspirational writings have influenced millions of people around the world and are freely available on the internet for us to read, enjoy, and create a life of our own… by choice…

  1. Very True. Giving shud be the principle in everyone’s life. Then, there wudn’t be dearth of any thing in this world. In the process , everyone will get much more than what one sows by the above principle. The elimination of greed will resolve most worldly problems.
