Tashi and Nungshi Display Rare Character

Last year, I had carried the post “Let’s Honour Resilience and Excellence: Tashi and Nungshi” on my blog about the two brave twin sisters who had created history by scaling Mount Everest on May 19, 2013 and became the first ever twin sisters to do so in the world. The duo, Tashi and Nungshi, had then dreamt of scaling seven tallest peaks in seven continents. A very arduous task by any standards to achieve.

As per the report published in India Today, the duo have once again created history by scaling Mount Vinson Massif, the highest peak in Antarctica on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, and thus attaining the rare distinction of scaling all seven tallest peaks in seven continents, a feat which has reportedly never been achieved before by twin sisters. It is really awesome…mind-blowing…and very inspiring. Such a feat demands tremendous hard work, determination and dedication, passion and commitment, and above all belief in oneself. By doing so, Tashi and Nungshi, have displayed, beyond doubt, the character that they possess.

Bravo, Tashi and Nungshi Malik for touching those heights which have so far been untouched. The twins have entered ‘The Seven Summits Club’, the hall of fame for mountaineers and have now set their sight even higher on skiing both the North and South Pole. We are proud of you and wish you the very best in your future endeavours.

Building character demands courage, integrity, and self-discipline. We too can surmount any mountain if we develop our character Tashi and Nungshi way.
